TOURING MOTORCYCLES, OFF-ROAD MOTORBIKES & SCOOTERS
Below are our touring motorcycles, off-road motorbikes, dirt bikes, and scooters available from Hidden Vietnam Motorbike Tours. Scooters are mainly suitable for riders who cannot or prefer not to handle a manual clutch motorcycle. However, we strongly recommend manual clutch bikes for touring because they are generally larger, more powerful, and much more capable on Vietnam’s varied roads and terrain. With a proper touring motorcycle, you can travel confidently through mountain roads, remote countryside, steep passes, and rough sections. On the other hand, scooters are best suited to private groups where all riders have similar riding abilities and experience. With a capable touring bike, you are much less likely to slow down or hold back the rest of the group. In general, expats living and working in Hanoi mainly rent scooters as convenient commuter motorcycles for getting to and from work.
Our motorcycles are among the best rental bikes in Hanoi for riders looking for quality, reliability, and value. We provide well-maintained and dependable motorcycles at reasonable prices because we believe a good bike is essential for a safe and enjoyable Vietnam motorcycle tour. We do not focus on cheap motorcycles or low-quality Chinese copies that may look similar to better-known models but can be unreliable on longer journeys. If you are considering a Honda Win or a Chinese copy for touring, please check this link to understand the important differences and potential problems before making your choice.
The speed limit in Vietnam is generally 60 km/h on many roads, so most of the motorcycles listed below have more than enough performance to comfortably keep up with a touring group. However, speed is not the main objective of our motorcycle tours. The average touring speed is around 40 km/h, allowing riders to enjoy the scenery, explore local villages, and experience the changing landscapes rather than simply rushing from one destination to another. We also rarely ride more than 200 km per day, which gives you enough time to stop for photographs, enjoy local food, visit interesting places, and deal with changing road conditions. For us, motorcycle touring in Vietnam is about the journey and the experience, not simply covering the maximum distance possible.

Hello,
My name is Peter Smith. I am looking for 2 used Honda waves or Futures could you give me a price range?
Thank you for your time.
Hello Peter. We haven’t got any small scooters now because we are specialized in larger manual touring Japanese Hondas. We don’t sell used bikes, except bikes that we no longer need because we upgrade to a newer fleet. Please click here for a list of available bikes and let us know which ones you like.
