Booking & Payment Conditions

  • All bookings require a deposit. The exact amount depends on the type of service you choose and the duration of your motorcycle tour or rental.
  • Deposits are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you are unable to travel and have friends planning a motorbike trip in Vietnam, they can reimburse you and use your deposit to book any of our motorcycle tours or motorbike rental services.
  • Your trip can be postponed, subject to the availability of our motorbikes and tour guides. In rare cases, a small surcharge may apply if operating costs increase significantly. However, in most situations, we will honor the original price we agreed upon.
  • Once your payment has been made and your tour or rental has started, we are unable to provide a refund because we have already confirmed and paid our local partners and service providers.
  • The full balance must be paid before or on the day your motorcycle tour or motorbike rental begins. Cancellations made within 7 days for motorbike rentals, or within 14 days for guided or self-guided motorcycle tours, are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
  • All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) for consistency, but you may pay in any major currency. Credit card payments are accepted when you are in Vietnam. Please note that bank or card processing fees typically range from 3% to 4%.

Deposit & Payment Instructions

Western Union Quick Cash Transfer used to be the easiest, fastest, and most cost-effective way to send a tour deposit or motorbike rental payment. Recently, however, we have found the service less convenient because the review and delivery processes have become noticeably slower. Despite these changes, Western Union is still often a better option than a traditional bank transfer, especially for international payments.

Fortunately, since late March 2017, we have also accepted payments through VTCPay, one of the most trusted online payment gateways in Vietnam. The VTCPay website is protected by SSL encryption, ensuring that your credit card information is transmitted securely.

In accordance with Vietnamese regulations, all payments must be processed in Vietnamese Dong (VND). We convert the amount using the current exchange rate from www.xe.comĀ and apply a 3% service fee to cover processing costs. While VTCPay is a convenient and secure payment method, it may become relatively expensive for larger transactions of approximately US$1,000 or more due to the percentage-based processing fee.

Online Payment Gateway by Credit Card – Probably the Best Way for Booking & Payment

Our online payment gateway is one of the easiest and most secure ways to complete your booking and payment for a Vietnam motorcycle tour or motorbike rental.

We will first prepare a personalized invoice based on your specific booking. Once it is ready, we will send you a secure payment link. Simply click the link, select “Checkout,” and enter the requested information to complete your payment.

You can pay using major credit cards or online banking if you have a Vietnamese bank account. If you already have access to online banking in Vietnam, this option is usually more economical because you can transfer the payment directly to our VND bank account, avoiding additional credit card processing fees (see Option 3 below for details).

Once we receive your payment, we will send you a confirmation email containing all the essential information you need to prepare for your Vietnam motorcycle adventure, including useful details before your arrival and the start of your journey with us.

Via Western Union cash transfer

If you prefer to send your deposit via Western Union Cash Transfer, please use the details below. In most cases, you only need to complete the required fields requested by Western Union (shown in bold). Providing unnecessary information or making spelling mistakes can increase the length of the transfer message, which may result in additional fees.

Please pay special attention to the recipient’s given name. The most common mistake is spelling it as “The Ahn.” The correct name is “The Anh.”

  • Full name (Vietnamese order): Vu The Anh (Vu is the family name, and The Anh is the given name.)
  • Country: Vietnam
  • Current address: 21 ngo 247 Lam Du, Bo De, Hanoi
  • Phone/Mobile: +84 913047509
  • Service type: Money in Minutes

After your Western Union transfer is completed, you will receive a 10-digit MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number). Please email us the following information:

  • MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number)
  • Full name of the sender
  • Amount sent
  • Location where the transfer was made

Alternatively, you can simply scan or photograph your Western Union receipt and email it to us.

Once we receive these details, we will collect the funds from a local Western Union agent as soon as possible. For security reasons, the recipient must present a valid Vietnamese identity card when collecting the money. Therefore, only Vu The Anh (Anh Wu), the owner of Offroad Vietnam, is authorized to receive your deposit.

Via a traditional bank transfer

A traditional bank transfer is a secure and reliable way to send your tour deposit or payment. However, it is usually more expensive than other methods because many banks use intermediary (correspondent) banks and may apply additional exchange rate or international transfer fees. To minimize your costs, you are welcome to send the payment in whichever of the currencies below is most economical for you.

  • Beneficiary Name: Vu The Anh
  • Beneficiary Account Number (USD): 0011371882218
  • Beneficiary Account Number (VND): 0011001882198
  • Beneficiary Address: 36 Nguyen Huu Huan Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, Vietnam
  • Beneficiary Bank: Vietcombank (Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam – Operations Centre)
  • Bank Address: 21 ngo 247 Lam Du, Bo De, Hanoi, Vietnam
  • SWIFT Code: BFTVVNVX001
  • Recipient Account Number / IBAN: If your bank requires an IBAN, please enter 0. Some banking systems may require additional zeros before the transaction can be processed, as Vietnam does not use the IBAN system.
