Tours We Offer

Hidden Vietnam Motorcycle Tours provides private and customized motorcycle tours rather than trips operating on fixed departure dates. In other words, we do not run regular group tours on a set schedule. Many of our customers prefer strictly private motorcycle tours, traveling with their own friends or family, while others are happy to have additional riders join the adventure.

You can either start your own motorcycle tour from Hanoi and allow us to post an update to invite other riders, or you can ask to join one of the existing Vietnam motorbike tours listed below. Please note that an open-door trip may include riders with different levels of motorcycle riding experience. If you prefer to know exactly who you will be riding with, we strongly recommend booking a strictly private tour.

We do not guarantee that additional riders will join an open trip. However, when you choose to open your ride to other travelers, we will try our best to help find more riders who may be interested in joining your Hanoi motorcycle adventure.

Rider Skills

We recommend that intermediate and experienced riders join our Vietnam motorcycle tours, especially trips involving challenging roads, dirt tracks, mountain passes, and off-road sections. Riders should be comfortable controlling a motorcycle in different road and weather conditions and be prepared for the demands of a multi-day motorcycle adventure.

Beginners and riders with very little riding experience may also join, but we recommend taking a motorcycle riding lesson in Hanoi before departure. A riding lesson costs US$30 and can help you become more confident and familiar with the motorcycle before starting the tour.

In all cases, riders are responsible for making sure they have sufficient riding ability for the chosen trip. There is no refund for riders who are unable to ride after the tour has started or who cannot safely participate because of insufficient riding skills.

Our prices are not necessarily the cheapest, but we are proud to be among the best motorcycle tour operators in Northern Vietnam. We focus on providing high-quality motorcycles, experienced support, carefully planned routes, and reliable service rather than competing on price. Please note that a booking is only considered confirmed and secured after a deposit of US$200 – US$500 per person has been paid. The required deposit may vary depending on the length, type, and arrangements of the motorcycle tour.

However, some trips are open to additional riders who would like to join an existing motorcycle tour from Hanoi. If you cannot find a suitable Vietnam motorcycle tour for your travel dates, you may also start a new trip with us. We can post an update about your planned ride and try to find additional riders who may be interested in joining. This can be a good way to share the experience with other motorcycle travelers and potentially reduce the cost of your trip. However, please understand that we cannot guarantee that additional riders will join your tour.
